Marios Lourides
Marios Lourides is a special adviser to the Directors. He describes himself as being ‘just an accountant’ but actually brings a much wider range of skill to the Board. With a degree in Philosophy and a Chartered Certified Accountant he runs a general practice with a heavy bias towards business consultancy and taxation. Sears Morgan consists of 2 directors and currently 22 employees. Marios sits on a number of boards in a non executive capacity. He and his partner are expanding rapidly in China and the Middle East.
What he brings to Faraday is business acumen and consultancy as well as a strong comparative perspective and the ability to both challenge and support the board (as well as doing the accounts!).
In answer to the question, what makes a successful board? He says it is having an inherent doubt, which leads always to the question, why are we doing what we are doing?
