Zarine Jacob
 

Zarine Jacob is a coach and a facilitator with a holistic approach to people development, specialising in enabling productive relationships and powerful personal change. Zarine spent most of her life in India, based in several locations. She then moved to Canada, and has lived in the UK since 1991. Zarine worked in project management, training and development for 18 years in the not-for-profit sector until 2001 when she transitioned full-time into personal and organisational development as an independent consultant . Her clients have been from the public, private and voluntary sectors and she enjoys working in different organisational cultures.

She is passionate about supporting people in their desire to create extraordinary lives, personally and professionally, and she has a particular interest in personal wellness. Her coaching style is gently challenging, flexible, collaborative and inquiring. Her specialisms include:

Zarine belongs to the International Coaching Federation and to the British Association of Psychological Type. She wrote a weekly coaching column for the Indian Express for three years, and provides cultural briefings for Western diplomats and business people going to live and work in India. Zarine’s academic training is in the humanities - BA Psychology/Sociology, MA Women’s Studies, and a post-graduate diploma in Integrative Therapy. She is a licensed MBTI® practitioner, and also works with Emotional Intelligence frameworks.

Zarine is committed to lifelong learning, and regularly updates her skills and interest areas with further training. She is currently training to be a certified Teleclass Practitioner, and is also exploring the new field of ‘human software engineering’ that uses insights from physics and psychology. She has been an active member of the Cambridge Coaching Circle since 2002.
