Ross Hutchison joined Faraday after a 12-year career in the financial sector, as both manager and consultant, operating at both strategic and operational levels. He has gained extensive experience of organisational development, competency-based performance management processes, assessment and development centres, leadership and team development and coaching. He is an accredited user of a number of psychometric instruments, including Myers-Briggs andFIRO-B.
Ross has developed enormous expertise in helping people become aware of what they are good at but discount - and helping them make an informed choice about where to go, and how to take responsibility for their lives and their performance. He is challenging and courageous with clients and appreciates the positive feedback he gets from clients who realise the benefits of his approach.
Ross is especially interested in understanding what stops people being a great leader or having great relationships: what holds them back? He has found many parallels in the organisational environment - how organisations work or don’t work, and what gets in the way organisationally.
